What I Wore: an April Friday

Last night a box from Talbots arrived and I had no time to try on anything until this morning. This morning was a bit of a rush as that I spent far too much time on my couch watching the Royal Wedding! I yanked out this skirt just to see if it was as cute as I thought it was online and I LOVED it! I didn't have much time to be creative with the pairing, but I can think of a dozen different ensembles to make with it! I will be having a full review of my recent Talbots order – hits and misses next week.

I actually did NOT get the cardigan. I tried to think how I needed it/would wear it this spring and summer and couldn’t justify it. Other than this skirt, I got three pairs of jeans, a necklace and a jacket. Already know the jacket it going back, the necklace I am unsure and the jeans are still wrapped in plastic and waiting for this weekend to be checked out 🙂
I’m SO jealous! I wanted that skirt so badly and my size is completely sold out. Boo. Did you get that jacket/cardigan we both liked too? I wanted to try it on, but my store didn’t have any.
