Right now the sun is shining in the Nation's Capital but this morning was pretty gray and rainy. Searching and I cannot find a ray of sun…
This is the outfit I wore to my friend Shelly's rehearsal dinner – the $24/originally $118 Max Studio dress, with my Ann Taylor stretchy belt with the patent buckle and my Sofft black patent T-straps. With it I am wearing these red ball earrings that my mom bought me when she went on an African safari a couple years ago. The dress washed great – I adore matte jersey. Threw it in the washer on the gentle cycle with a bit of Crunchy Clean diaper detergent (doesn't suds up like regular detergent so great for delicates and low-spin cycles), hung it to dry and it was ready to wear the next morning!
I did the makeup in the same manner than I did on Friday night, and since it's not hot out, it has held up quite nicely all day. I did a quick touchup of lipstick before lunch but otherwise have looked fresh and polished.
Speaking of lunch, we had a business lunch today at Founding Farmers and it was awesome! I had heard amazing things about this restaurant and was not disappointed! If you are in DC you should check it out!
This is so pretty and flattering! You look fab!
That dress looks AMAZING on you!
Beautiful dress – great print!
OOO Pretty dress!! I need to find some Fall Dresses (or just wear my summer dresses with black tights. lol)
That is such a great color on you!
FABulous!!
Wow, Allie, that dress is AMAZING. Great price! I also think you look stunning in the black dress you wore for the wedding.
