This is a Casual Friday if I have ever done it – a silkscreened tee? But I have already put in seven extra hours this week and haven't had time for laundry let alone hang out with Little Miss E. I am REALLY looking forward to this weekend, even though we have a sad affair tomorrow (burying my husband's father's ashes). It will be nice to spend time with family and loved ones and not be behind two computers with a headset on all day long! ๐
Ok, ok, you’re right about the wet hair. But I am very lazy and am going to do my best to forget all the good reasons why I should never leave the house with wet hair- after all, I can pretend that it is a decision made on environmental energy-saving grounds, no?!
I agree, “svelte” was the first word that came to mind! Someone should use this picture as an example of how the “white jeans will make you look fat” myth is not true at all when the jeans fit & are a flattering shape!
Did you see all of the Ann Taylor denim that is massively marked down right now? (Just in case you need to restock your pants – these AT jeans seem to fit you perfectly.)
At least your hair dries cute and curly when you wear it out wet. Mine just goes all limp and flips at random angles unless I’m finger-combing/fluffing it while commuting, and it needs to have some product in it too.
wet hair is also a pet peeve of mine… it looks sweaty…. nice blog!

Love that blue color on you! Love the scarf, too.
LOL! I worry about being caught on TV too ๐
And no new bra – these are Anita underwire nursing bras every single day. I have one in black, one in nude, one in white and think I may invest in a second black one. They are a stretch lace and look like regular bras outside of the clip on the straps. They also lift almost as well as a higher-quality bras. My entire wardrobe is based upon being able to wear these, and utilize them for nursing and pumping. So yeah, that’s not it but THANK YOU for the compliment!!! ๐
๐ I have always thought that while you are walking to your car or heading on the Metro you may find Mr. or Ms. Right, you may bump into your future boss or in-law, you may get caught on TV… and how terrible it would be to have wet hair at that moment (or VPL or too short pants, or a scrunchie in your hair…)
Oh Allie, I thought that we wre on the same page until I read about your contempt for leaving home with wet hair- it would never work! ๐
Maybe it’s a new bra? You are looking svelte these days.
