Friday night I got home and realized I spilled on my dress, so I switched to the dress that arrived in the mail – the “Kate” dress from J. Crew in “Flame.” This is a bright orange-red that I adore. On sale and with a coupon so the dress was a cheap as Old Navy. Score! Same accessories.
Attended a circle of women in my community which was really wonderful. Met some new people, connected closer with those I already knew, had some of the BEST watermelon of the season!
Saturday… for the life of me I cannot remember Saturday. Oh yes, yoga, then lunch with my mom, then ran errands. I came home and tried out some of the camping supplies for our upcoming trip to Bonnaroo, waterproofed my Duo boots, took a nap, went out to dinner… nothing terribly exciting and no pictures.
Sunday began with errands and then yoga.

We had a great time, saw lots of friends, played with their son who just turned 1, chilled on the beach and grilled for dinner. Got a bit of sun even though I put on the SPF 30.
Monday we went to visit friends in Northern Virginia who just got a new place and were having a cookout/housewarming. Again no full-length pic, just a shot of me in the back seat en route.

My sister Debbie has written for Wardrobe Oxygen before. She recently texted me about a subject I hadn’t written about. It was one I knew many of you would also want to know about: plus size short sleeved tops for summer. The kind of tops that are more elevated than a t-shirt for all those… Continue Reading 16+ Plus Size Short Sleeved Tops: When You Want Something Nicer Than a T-Shirt
You woke up on the wrong side of the bed, you grappled with insomnia, youโre battling the flu or a hangover. Your hair just doesnโt want to cooperate and youโre PMSing. Your kid puked on your new suede mules and you had a power failure and the alarm didnโt go off on time. You hate… Continue Reading So You Had a Bad Day
In the 2000’s it was all about the bootcut jean. The 2010’s was all about skinny jeans and jeggings. Now in the 2020’s it seems most every style of denim is acceptable but there is a real resurgence of the 1990’s style of jean. A little loose, a little borrowed from the boys, sort of… Continue Reading Is the Gap ’90s Loose Jean The Perfect 2020’s Jean for Grown-ass Women?
This was one of those weeks that didn’t stand out for anything unusually awful, but it was an uphill climb. It’s funny, many friends I spoke to felt the same about this week and all for different reasons. Maybe it’s the rain (those down south I’m wishing you the best through this hurricane!), back to… Continue Reading Weekend Reads #20
It’s Thursday evening and I am tired, both mentally and physically. We went camping last weekend and left early thanks to rain, which hasn’t really stopped ever since. I work on weekends, there’s no way to get everything with a blog done during the week, especially since I take time to go to the gym… Continue Reading Weekend Reads #22

LOVE that dress with those sandals. What a fantastic color, reminds me of that long ago blood orange Mizrahi sweater at Target.
