Black Ponte de Roma knit jacket from Banana Republic Outlet, teal scoop-necked tee from gap, black city shorts from Gap Outlet, black croco peeptoe heels from BCBGirls, silver pocketwatch necklace from Ann Taylor Loft, silver chain from Renaissance Festival, silver hoops and cuff bracelet.
Hair was washed last night and air dried. This morning I straightened it with a paddle brush and the dryer.
Makeup is L'Oreal Bare Naturale foundation in True Beige, Nars blush in Orgasm, Pop Beauty shadow set for brown eye – the celadon green on the lid, Maybelline UltraLiner in black on top lash line, DiorShow Unlimited mascara in black, Maybelline Shine Seduction Glossy Lipcolor in Blushed Bass.
I like the look of your bangs lately.
Cute outfit!
I love those city shorts!
They look so good on you!!
Well the longer length for these were flattering to my heavier legs and didn’t look so… shorts-like. Crisp fabric – these are a heavy twill that are wrinkle-free. A cuff gives a more professional/dressed-up look. Make sure they fit well in the top – the pockets don’t bulge, there aren’t a lot of details bumping out. Also they look great with tailored tops – little jackets, button-downs, etc.
I really want some city shorts!! What do you think are the key things to keep in mind to make sure I get a flattering pair?
