Tuesday
Brown merino 3/4 sleeve v-neck sweater from Gap, ivory and brown and coral tweed wool trousers from Ann Taylor, brown leather peep toes with wood heels from Maripe, thin gold hoops from Diva.
Hair is on it's second day, used round brush and dryer on dry hair to smooth out bedhead. Bit of Matrix sleek.look Water-Free Lockout sprayed on for shine and smoothness.
Makeup is L'Oreal true Match foundation in C3, concealer in W4-5, Chanel pressed powder in Natural applied with a big brush, then a bit of Body Shop bronzer in Light and Smashbox Soft Lights in Tint. Revlon ColorStay shadow quad in neutral, Cover Girl Lash Exact mascara in black, Revlon LipGlide in Rum Radiance.
All three pairs of hoops I own are the endless style where the post goes into the hallow of the earring. I love these earrings but they are a bit cheap and often do not stay connected… may need to eventually invest in a replacement…
Glad the technique is working for you! I figured it out from pure laziness, but it has been working! ๐
I really like the hoop earrings you are wearing.. they are bold without being so overwhelming! I liked the ones from yesterday as well. I just recently did this post on hoop earrings because I really want a comfortable pair. I was wondering how the backing was on the earrings, is it one of those that go into the hollow of the earring (to make a full circle) or are they more like lever-back earrings. Thanks a lot and I love your blog as always!
Oh Miss Dilly, I just have to say I never thought to actually use the dryer and product on DRY hair to smooth out the wrinkles and bedhead. Thank you for repeating over and over on your 2nd day hair posts that you do that. It finally sunk in and now I sport a smoother do too! Many Thanks!
