These pictures were yesterday; I had the day off work and ran around town. Dropped Emerson off at school, went to the post office to pick up a registered package and drop off Poshmark sales, hit the bank, Staples, and two different grocery stores to get everything we need to host Christmas Day brunch. We stopped off at Starbucks… and they were already out of red cups! I was surprised that I actually cared and was sad about it. So weird how such minor things can make such an impact.
Speaking of impact, I couldn't believe how many compliments I got with this vest! Vests are such an easy way to upgrade a look. I was not feeling fancy this day, a comfortable tee, stretchy jeans, my most comfortable flat boots but the addition of the vest had strangers telling me I looked nice and asking me where I got the vest and the bag. I think the red cups were recalled due to a leaking issue (seriously) that’s likely why they were out. You’re right though, it is kind of bummer because I always enjoy them.

Oh, that bag is awesome! Love the whole outfit. I’m obsessed with striped shirts & have a similar one from J Crew. It looks great with so many things but my favorite way to wear it right now is with a plaid scarf; makes me feel festive!
