Yet another fabulous dress from Simply Vera Vera Wang via Kohl's! This dress comes in a gorgeous purple, but I couldn't resist this wine color which is so hot for fall. This dress is super comfortable and stretchy and flattering to my curves. I styled it casual, but this dress' style and fabric can easily glam up for a wedding or holiday party. The neckline is modest so you could style it with a jacket like this one and booties and wear to a creative office place. The fabric is a nice weight and won't wrinkle so it's also fabulous for travel. Talk about some versatility!
This jacket is pretty darn amazing. I like how it's stretchy but it's heavier and doesn't look like stretch denim. It comes in three colors; this is the Medium Wash. It's a great color that will work with lighter or darker denim and a good variety of colors. It's distressed with some rusty spots, faded spots, weathered spots and it really does make it look more expensive and truly vintage.

Perfect ensemble! Love the wine colour. I bought an inexpensive long sleeveless vest in wine for fall – it’s a winner and pairs well with jeans, skirts and dresses for lots of different looks.

It’s a great jacket! As a heads up, I received a 1X. I am not a 1X so the jacket is pinned in the back to have it fit better. A friend who is a 1X is now the owner and it looks amazing on her. If they had it 0X I’d be wearing it all the time, in fact likely wearing with the outfit I have on today. it’s a super nice jacket.
So, I went for it, and bought the jacket. It arrived really fast (and was only $20 after the discount.) Your review is spot on– it’s nice that there’s a little stretch but it still feels weighty, and the “vintage” color is great, not too fakey/cheap looking. I’m usually a 2x in most Kohl’s brands, and while it fits well (a bit roomy actually, but ok for layers underneath) I will say that I wish it was an inch or two longer in this size. It’s not quite a cropped length on me but shorter than ideal. (I’m 5’9 though so things are often a little shorter than I’d like.) Anyway, thanks for the review– it convinced me to get this cute jacket and what a deal!
