I received this dress in my latest Gwynnie Bee box and was surprised by it… Lands' End isn't usually known for low-cut dresses and this one needed a safety pin or two to make it work. Then I saw it on Hems for Her and my sister (also a Gwynnie Bee subscriber) informed me that I was trying it on backwards! Turned it around and suddenly it fit so much better! D'oh!
This dress is such an example of why I love Gwynnie Bee. I love this! Sometimes your rock chick style is quite different from mine so I find it harder to appreciate an outfit, but I really like this look, particularly the summery accessorising (though I would possibly have lost the necklace). Know I haven’t commented for a while but still a big fan of the blog 🙂

In light of your previous post, how did it feel to wear all this color?
I don’t think this is a lot of color. I’m not writing off color, I just want to use it more carefully, as pops instead of Rainbow Brite. This time last year I was Rainbow Brite and that’s not me.

I never said I was boycotting color, i just said I wanted to use it more sparingly. This time last year I looked like Rainbow Brite and it’s just not me. More careful use in 2013.

That’s Lands’ End??? I was just in a Lands’ End inlet looking for a swimsuit, and the clothes I saw were definitely not as fun and cute as that! Good call wearing it backwards. It looks really nice that way!

It’s super cute with the V in front, but it seemed to hang a bit better on my midsection with the V in back. But I may try it turned around with a wider belt to cinch it better!

I know you aren’t asking me, but I am wearing it for the second time- the fabric is great, no wrinkles at all!
Ditto what Katie wrote, it’s a poly blend, the skirt is fully lined and it doesn’t seem to wrinkle at all, and is also very light and floaty 🙂
