One of the biggest frustrations I hear from you readers is the lack of attractive suiting in plus sizes. Well ELOQUII (glad to have you back, we missed you!) must have heard such grumblings because this season they have launched a suiting line that isnโ€™t frumpy, isntโ€™ dumpy, and has reasonable prices!

ELOQUIIโ€™s suiting collection is classic without being matronly and every piece is under $130. I really like the Luxe Doubleweave collection, featured above. Currently available in navy and black, the blazer, pencil skirt, trousers, and sheath dress are of a fabric that works year round and coordinates nicely with other materials. Available in sizes 14 โ€“ 24, the prices make it so you can afford tailoring for a custom fit.

The Crepe collection adds some fun fashion elements to the work wardrobe. The Crepe Zipper Jacket has a cool moto-inspired look and flattering draping that would look fabulous with trousers, a skirt, or over a dress (and also could dress down with denim for a night out with the girls). The coordinating Bias Crepe A-line skirt is a great wardrobe piece that looks feminine yet professional with blouses and skirts and can work great with tights and boots in the winter or peep toes and sandals come summer.

But ELOQUIIโ€™s suiting collection isnโ€™t all basic navy and black, their Contrast Collar Jacket and coordinating wrap skirt in emerald offer a pop of color to the workday without losing a professional edge. The jacketโ€™s collar is really cool, and would look great with trousers or skirt, but also over a black and white graphic dress or a simple tank and boyfriend jeans for the weekend.

Have you tried the ELOQUII suiting collection? What do you think of the relaunched ELOQUII line?

  1. Allie,
I love the suit. However, I wish the inseam on the pants was a little longer. I can wear a 33″ inseam with flats but would need more length for any height heel. Do you know if there is enough fabric on the pants hem to let it down ~ an inch?
    Thanks,
    Chris

  3. I think you meant “missed” in the “(Glad to have you back, we must you!)” ๐Ÿ™‚ Great information — glad to have another source to buy plus size. Have a good day!

    1. Karen,
I thought she was doing a clever play on words. Such as, “We must have you back.” But maybe it was just a typo. Allie, why not go with the clever interpretation? LOL
