No matter how carefully I shop, sometimes I am just so sick of everything in my wardrobe. This especially happens at the end of a season when I'm craving different weather and with it different silhouettes. And at these times of the year I am even more glad to have a Gwynnie Bee membership. One of their trademark white boxes arrives at my door and I have the ability to break from my over-worn seasonal wardrobe without spending a ton. And when I tire of the pieces from Gwynnie Bee I can send them back! This dress from Triste comes in a ton of different prints and colors, but I love how this one tricks the eye and creates a bit more of an hourglass shape.

Free Endearment sent me this bag a couple months ago and it's pretty great. As you see, it's a nice size and an accordion style so it can hold a ton, plenty of pockets, a magnet closure for security, and a detachable strap. It's available in a few other colors of leather and right now is on sale. I find my red bags get more use than any other color in my closet because it's such a perfect accent shade.

  1. The dress fits beautifully and, as others have said, the waist is the best part! It gives you a great hourglass figure. All business or pleasure, it works for any occasion and brightens up a room! Love it, Allie!

  2. Wow, that dress, and the way it looks on you! The color and fit are perfect and I LOVE the way it looks belted, too. Hmmmmm, we have the same body type. May need to check that out. ๐Ÿ™‚

  3. What a great dress. It fits beautifully and the pattern pulls the eye to your narrowest point; it’s very flattering.
Off to see if I can buy it…

  4. People like Glenda serve as a good reminder: there are a lot of broken people in this world looking to spread their hurt.

But much more importantly: do you know where I can find Triste clothing? The Google was not very helpful. You look lovely!

    1. Good question, I’ve never seen the brand and like you found The Google also did not know (but see some pieces sold on used clothing sites like Poshmark…). I did get this dress in a different print and was underwhelmed – while the fabric is nice and I love the double layer of same fabric (not clingy crappy lining that ends up bunching) I wonder if the rest of the line is great, or if they just found a winner with this print.

  5. I agree with most of the comments here! You look absolutely stunning! Great dress! Love the simple bag and shoes with the pattern! But WOW some people…. I hope you have a fabulous day in your fabulous dress!

  6. I’m GB member and don’t usually closet things from that brand, but I think I’m going to have to now!

      1. I would be on the fence. It looks amazing on you. The only problem is that it is so memorable you couldn’t wear it that often. I don’t see how to style it different ways but then again I am not a wardrobe blogger.

        1. My concern is once it’s fall again, will I still love it? I wore it before with black opaque tights and booties, and think it would look cute under a black blazer and even tried it with my white boyfriend blazer and think it could work, but it’s very memorable. But this is the beauty of Gwynnie Bee, I can take my time to decide! ๐Ÿ™‚

  7. How many spanx are you wearing to keep your stomach so lean? We know you’re not always built like that. And good job photoshopping a hole in your leg in the last picture, next time be more careful so we can’t tell that you alter your photos.

    1. Just one, and it’s the one I wear all the time with dresses like this: http://www.barenecessities.com/dkny-seductive-lights-firm-control-high-waist-boyshort-645176_product.htm?pf_id=DKNY645176&search= and as for my leg I tore my calf muscle two years ago and it left me with a lump in my leg, fuck you, I mean thank you very much http://www.wardrobeoxygen.com/2013/05/how-to-do-a-concert-with-a-bum-leg-father-john-misty-at-the-930-club.html

        1. Seriously? After how awful your original comment was, you then turn around and call her a bitch? LOL. Pot, meet kettle.

          1. She looks gorgeous. Why do people feel the need to troll? Allie is great. Take your trolling somewhere it will be appreciated.

      1. I have no idea what the witch is talking about and I’m glad I don’t! You have always looked great and I have been following you for years.

  8. Yeah, the thumbnail had me totally convinced you were wearing it belted, and then I realized it’s just the coloration on the dress. And now i want the dress.

      1. Allie,
I thought I remembered that they would let you keep items as long as you want, but you could not purchase them. Do I remember wrong or did they change their policy? Either way, I am happy the policy now allows you to purchase.

You do look so fantastic in that dress. Just when I decide what my favorite color on you is, you surprise me with something else fabulous. I love orange on you and you wear black better than anyone I have ever seen. Then you had/have an emerald shirt that looks extraordinary. Now, red. Hmmm. Which is my favorite?

        1. The plan did change and you can now keep anything you have rented and it will be charged to your card on file, or you can buy from a portion of their site. This makes so much sense because it gives them money to buy new fashions and keep the collection fresh!
