Black and ivory print knit circle skirt from Rachel Palley, black tights from Target (I kept trying to get my legs and feet in pics but since I have to open the door to reduce glare, I couldn't get them), black round toe high-heel pumps from Jessica Simpson. Silver cuff and large hoops.

Hair is on the second day. I tried to brush out the matted curls, it looked frizzy and gross. I curled pieces with curling iron, it looked like a 1984 SAHM. I gave up and slapped on a black knit Alice band from H&M, sprayed the hair with Sebastian Shaper to make it more full and funky, and left it alone.

Makeup is L'Oreal True Match foundation in C3, True Match concealer in W3 (thinking may be a bit too light), and Nars Orgasm blush. For eyes, took Revlon ColorStay shadow in ivory on inner corners, Body Shop gray shadow on the lid, Maybelline Ultra Liner in black on top lash line and a bit of Body Shop eye pencil in black on lower lash line (smudged with finger). L'Oreal Voluminous mascara in black on curled lashes and Revlon Color Glide Sheer lipgloss in Sheer Burgundy.

  1. Hi,

I wanted to say I love your blog (and your other one!). It is really inspiring to see the care you take with putting together your look. (Even with you are ill!) I admit I’m not so good about it, but hopefully I can get better with your leadership. ๐Ÿ˜‰ You always look great!

  2. Okay…I “lurv” your blog. It’s so nice to see a curvy girl do her thing in the clothing dept(even though you are slowly shrinking:)) I’m a big makeup, product chick and I love fashion but gained some weight over the last two years plus went for employment to unemployment to stay at home mom to employment in the career of my dreams. So my fashion sense had taken a hit. I’ll definitely be checking your blog for inspiration.
