Black merino turtle from Ann Taylor, my summer denim skirt I distressed that's from Old Navy, but 2″ cut off by me the other day. Black footless tights from Old Navy. Black round-toe pumps with conical heels from Target. Silver cuff and silver hoops.
Hair is second-day, a few unruly pieces straightened with a ceramic iron. Then Sebastian Dirt applied to some pieces to break it up. I tried the part and the bangs on the opposite side and like it.
Makeup is L'Oreal True Match foundation, Body Shop stick concealer, and Chanel pressed powder applied with a bronzer brush from Sephora. Light gray and soft black shadows from Body Shop, black liquid liner/Ultra Liner from Maybelline, L'Oreal Volume Shocking mascara in black. On lips is Sally Hansen's diamond lipgloss in Champagne Toast.
so chic, chica!
I saw a grey empire waist with batwing sleeves in Nine West–they had grey leggings to match–a salesguy saw me fingering the merch and offered me a dressing room–but I said, naaah, sometimes I think that if you wore it the first time around, maybe you should stay away when it comes back in style!
what do you think? you rocked the ’80’s look back then and it’s obviously still workin’ for you now. I guess I should have tried the outfit on to see how it looked. I still carry the memory of me several years ago, wearing an empire waist forest green minidress from victoria’s secret with opaque tights and black boots and someone asking me dubiously if that was one of my maternity shirts…it may have scarred me for life.
Ooh, your makeup looks very chic, and I loe the way your hair falls over your eye. That’s a great look for a black turtleneck!
