Casual Friday work, then happy hour at a Mexican restaurant afterwards with friends from college.
White shirt from Ann Taylor, blue-black Long and Lean jeans from Gap, black boots from Enzo, silver cuff and large silver hoops.
Hair is second-day dirty, used a bit of Suave Professionals root lifter and blew pieces with round brush and dryer to make smooth and full.
Makeup is the standard MAC MoistureBlend, Studio Stick concealer and Blot Powder. Touch of Nars Orgasm blush. On lips is The Body Shop's Liquid Lipcolor in 14, eyes is the Revlon ColorStay shadow quad in neutral – ivory in corners, khaki on lid, chocolate along lash line and in crease. L'Oreal Voluminous mascara in black.
By the way, got these jeans from my Mom who accidently bought them in the wrong size and then forgot to return them. I love how they fit, though they are a bit short for my tastes (I like them practically dragging on the floor). I went to Gap today to buy an additional pair, as that I want a more regular wash. Why is it that these are 12 Ankle and fit, yet three pairs of 12 Regular int he store are too big and a pair of 14 Ankle were shorter than these and fit almost the same, though too big in the waist? I HATE THAT! I left without jeans.
On vaca with the hubby! Will be back next week.
Where are you? Have you disappeared ?
I love checking in with you every day. One thing that always makes me cring a bit- the phrase “second day dirty” in reference to your hair. It isn’t DIRTY is it? It usually looks great on day two. How about “second day CLEAN”?
What a wonderful idea for a blog! Only one thing is missing..you need a shot of your shoes! Looking good!
Just like Mrs. Zoid, I usually get my long and leans for less than $20 Canadian, but I get them on sale at the Gap.
For some reason, Gap fits, lengths, and sizes are really irregular, even within the same style.
Those are my absolute most favorite type of jeans. I have no idea why they fit so much better than others I’ve tried. I’m fortunate to be able to get them for around $15/pair at a local barely-used-name-brand consignment store.
Lookin’ GOOD Girl!!!
