Friday through Monday
Happy Presidents Day everyone! My company doesn't have the day off, but I took it off because I had a lot of errands I needed to accomplish before 6pm. So I will be busy today!
Friday I finally got back into the office.

Olive green is one of those colors I don’t wear often, and when I do, I don’t know why I don’t wear it more often. It’s surprisingly flattering and so versatile. What other color looks so great with brown and black, pink and orange, black and white, turquoise and teal? Chico’s reached out and asked…
I woke up very very early for a meeting at a different office location for our company. Hubby still asleep, so no pictures. I get to this office, head to their bathroom and lookie here… a full length mirror! I dig in my laptop bag to take my picture… and I left my camera at…
By now you know I am a cabi fan. I’ve been wearing their clothing for several years, but after this summer when I got to meet the people behind the brand at cabi Conversations, and then when I was able to attend their twice-monthly conference The Scoop, I really fell in love. I think the…
Top: c/o Karen Kane | Camisole: Banana Republic | Skirt: eBay | Tights: Nordstrom | Booties: Miss Sixty | Coat: Thrifted | Jewelry: gifts, had forever, that sort of thing I never have time to go thrifting, but Wednesday before Thanksgiving my sister and I got off a bit early, drove home together and along…
Today I didn’t go to yoga – I really had a lot of errands to do and instead I gave the dog some TLC with a nice walk through the woods. Ran all around town wearing my burgundy merino shift from Banana Republic, black thermal long-sleeved tee from Old Navy and tan Bern boots from…
As someone who has a job that offers her free clothing, I really examine what stays in my closet year after year, especially in my summer wardrobe. That which I find comfortable yet stylish, breezy and fun to wear. And below I share the dress I wear all summer long. It’s a certain fabric and…
Love the sweater. Your hair looks great too! You have me thinking of ordering a pair of duo boots.
Alli, you are always too cute!
I have a present for you on my blog!
Looking good, Allie! Love this outfit.
Thanks, Allie. Tried them out on the snow and ice here and took them to the cobbler’s for treaded soles. Now they are perfect for winter weather!
This is great look! You look great rocking the boots over jeans look!
love the browns and pretty gold jewelry here.
Nope they don’t have the best tread on them, but I waterproofed them and they have a better sole than most of my other shoes (and I think equal to sneakers) so they have become my winter go-to boots.
Hope you are enjoying your day off, Allie. How did your duo boots do in the snow? I ask as I just got a pair of Bern in black and am a bit hesitant to walk on the snow and ice in them since they don’t have a deep profile on the soles.
Thanks for any tips!
LOVE that sweater on you!! And you are rocking those jeans. Glad to see you have been surviving the DC snow.
Oh dear! I wear my yoga pants and ribbed tanks and cardigans out to do errands. I do I do. Bad girl.
I love your blog and seeing your outfits.
