Happy Thanksgiving
This quote from Emerson is the grace that we recite before digging into our classic New England meal of turkey, stuffing, boiled pearl onions, mashed potatoes, roasted sweet potatoes, green bean casserole, homemade gravy, and rolls. After the meal, we usually have several different pies to choose from which are served with Breyer's vanilla ice cream and coffee. Each year we go to my mom's – it's a table full of family in the area plus any friends and neighbors who don't have somewhere to go, and it's always a great time. The tradition and the family time make it my favorite holiday.
Thanksgiving is about giving thanks, and seeing the blessings in life. I'd like to thank all of you for coming to read Wardrobe Oxygen, getting to know me, letting me get to know you, and this great community we have. I feel blessed to have this connection, this blog, and all of you in my life. It's such a pleasure to be able to interact, help, and learn from all of you, and I think this past year has been one of the most inspiring and rich years I have ever blogged, thanks to you.
No Thanksgiving for us… just the ongoing craziness building up to Christmas. It’d be kind of nice to have a day off about now… (But hope you had a lovely day)
Hope you had a wonderful holiday!!
I’m new to your blog and I’m glad I found you. Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours!
Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family too, Allie!! I love your blog and look forward to many more lovely posts!
