Last night I stopped in my local Ann Taylor because they had 50% off sale. The selection was huge and not just in the sale department. They also had 40% off tanks, tees, shorts, and more. I grabbed two tops and a sweater… and then left them in my mom's car last night after Weight Watchers. She said she would give them to my husband tomorrow at his yoga class – can't wait as I didn't have time to try on at the store and don't even know if any of these items will work!

  1. Adorable as always! Such a great reminder to pull the blazer — instead of always the cardy — with my jeans. Loves!

ps: thanks for following my blog; just re-did GFC (actually, figured out how to transfer the followers from past, feeling genius, haha) so be sure you’re followin: http://www.theaveragegirlsguide.com. THANKS!

  2. love the simple toatlly put together look of this outfit!!!  May have to copy this for an event coming up this month!!  ๐Ÿ˜€

  3. I really like how a black blazer polishes a look but gives it edge at the same time. I sometimes wear black blazers like this w/ the sleeves rolled up over nicer dresses and I really like the effect.
    Skinny Minnie! xo

  4. Both of those shoes are very nice too! Unfortunately they don’t come in
wide widths and that is what I need to be comfy in Payless. Thank you so
much for the suggestions, I learn so much from you readers! ๐Ÿ™‚

  5. I love that you wear shoes from Payless. Proof that you can look shiek on a budget. These cuties I found on the Payless website may be a good alternative, “Party Cork High Wedge Sling” or the “Looper Twisted Wedge”. Those would look great on you too. What do you think?

  6. I’ve never shopped at Ann Taylor but that’s only because I feel like it’s an elegant woman’s place to shop and I think of myself as more of a clumsy girl ๐Ÿ˜› Maybe one day I’ll feel mature and awesome enough to go in.

Love this outfit though. Very simple and chic.

  7. You look great! I love how simple and chic your outfits are. The necklace or necklaces are super cute. And I think you’ve inspired me to do post-baby Weight Watchers!

  8. Allie, you look amazing!  Today’s photo really shows that your hard work at WW has paid off.  Woo hoo!

  9. Will do! I remember a mauve very thin boyfriend cardi, a B&W striped tee (I
know I have a striped tee addiction), but don’t remember the other 2
offhand; sort of zoomed in and out in like 10 minutes. Will write a recap
    next week!

  10. You look terrific!  Please let us know what Ann Taylor tops you bought and if they work.  Always love to see you  AT choices.
