The past couple of weeks have been so hectic, I find I am deciding between an extra 30 minutes of sleep or a creative outfit for work. Today, sleep won.
I found these denim trousers in the attic – I can remember wearing them and finding them skin tight and too long. Now they are a bit large and too short! I was going to try to lengthen them a bit, but was in a pinch this morning and decided to wear as-is. This shirt I love so much, when they were on sale for $29 I purchased two!
Today is a gorgeous day in DC – bright blue sky, sun shining. It's a bit chilly, but still a refreshing change from yesterday! Our neighborhood has a bunch of kids and when the weather gets nice, they all come out to play. Emerson's little buddy who lives in our court was outside with his mom wearing his “superhero cape” (a napkin held in place with a hair elastic). My husband got a picture of he and I with our best superhero poses.

I was surprised when you said that sleep won. I love this outfit. Is it the stripes? The yellow? Not sure, but it’s a winner. And yes, those jeans DO look fabulous on you.
