Not the best day so far. Somehow I hit “off” instead of “snooze.” Luckily the trash men came and caused the dogs to bark and wake me. I looked at my reflection and regretted letting my stylist put chunky crazy highlights in my hair last night, and regretted asking her to cut me bangs. Then leaving the house, the lid of my travel mug wasn't secure and I spilled coffee all over my shirt, my shoes, the inside of my purse, and my book. And this crazy rain isn't helping me with this new hair:
I swear the bangs aren't crooked in real life, it's just frizz wreaking havoc on my head. Anyhoo, I am at work, I have a job, I work with phenomenal people, I got a seat on the Metro, and I have leftover shrimp fried rice (made spicy) and pineapple for lunch so I know this will turn out to be a great day!

That beautiful pink raincoat is making me rethink my tendency to always go neutral with black. It really makes your total look ‘pop’ in a very good way.

Give yourself a week to love (or loathe) the bangs. I always find it takes some mental adjustment to get used to that new “me” in the mirror.

Yay! Way to stay positive! (I am a shrimp fried rice fiend by the way!) I am really liking the rasberry coat/green umbrella pairing! And I like the new choppy fringe, I think it goes perfectly with the outfit you wore (It reminds me of that classic french style). Hopefully we get to meet up again soon!
