My body may be here… but my mind is already at Bonnaroo! We leave tomorrow morning and I cannot wait. I spent all last night and this morning packing, planning, preparing. Though we decided to splurge this year and go VIP, it's still four days of camping in the Tennessee heat and to be comfortable, you have to have the right gear and clothing (speaking of which, check out my lastest Savings.com post about Bonnaroo fashion!).
I considered scheduling guest bloggers to post while I was away… but I was a slacker. I won't be posting while at Roo, but I will be Tweeting while there! If you aren't following me yet, be sure to do so – I'll be sharing photos, stories, and experiences on the Farm. And if you are going to Bonnaroo, be sure to Direct Message me on Twitter or email me – maybe we can meet up!
I have also worn it with jeans on other days like here: https://www.wardrobeoxygen.com/2011/09/my-wardrobe-today-thursday.html
I don’t think so. The top would be better with jeans.
I 100% ADORE LOVE & COVET this look! Super Fab!
I am absolutely in love with that skirt! Your bangs look fabulous, too. Have a fantastic, safe trip to Bonnaroo!!!
I love the unexpected combo of your frilly skirt with your army green jacket!
Yes?
test received!
Sure it is: http://myworld.ebay.com/merrylena/
I think that could be a fabulous combination!
I think my view on maxi dresses is because of where I live/work and it’s very normal in DC for people to wear lace, sequins, etc. for daytime. ๐
Oh dear.

What a beautiful skirt!! Have a fun time x
Can you tell us what the name of the ebay seller is? (bracelet)
I really like how you’ve styled this with the mixture of tough and sweet. I’d also like to see the skirt with maybe a blood orange top and your leopard print heels? Think it’s very versatile!
You look amazing in this outfit!! Love your blog!!
You look lovely! That skirt is to die for! Gosh Allie, you are always rocking it! So inspiring!
I love the combo of tough and frilly!
LOVE the outfit, absolutely adorable. I find it really interesting that you think maxi dresses are inappropriate for work ( I don’t disagree), but a LACE skirt is? Lace + the office is so wrong, on many levels. This skirt screams evening out and does not work in an office environment… especially ivory lace. IMO. Nonetheless, love the combo.
i have RSVP’ed yes, and im planning on being there unless something pops up!
Now I want a lace skirt!!
Have fun!!
So fierce and so fabulous on so many levels!
This skirt is so fabulous on you!
LOVE that skirt! You look awesome! Hope you have a fantastic time!
Come take a look inside A Working Mom’s Closet
Awesome look! I really adore that skirt. May have to find a copycat if you keep posting cute outfits with it! Have fun on your trip!
I LOVE THIS OUTFIT! You look fantastic! The combo of the lace and cargo with the booties is genius. I know Bonnaroo will be fab and I don’t even need to tell you to have a great time. I can’t wait to hear all about it.
I love this! Lacy-girly plus military is such a fab look. Have a great time at Bonnaroo!
Have a fantastic time at Bonnaroo! VIP is the only way to go! Also, adore this outfit. The juxtaposition of the jacket with the lace skirt is wonderful!!
Very, very nice. It has a bit of tomboy mixed with girly feel to it. Love
it!
LOVE this look. Adore the rugged with the totally feminine skirt!

BONNAROOOOOOOOO!!! And thanks Misty, always love the tough yet sweet combo!
Woohoo! Roo bound in one day! I love the mix of the military and the soft of the skirt.
Oh, and are you going to the blogger GTG this month? If so I will see you there!
I think it may end up being a series of posts! ๐
i will live bonnaroo through you. cant wait to see your festival post when you return. ๐
Thank you! It was pulled together in a dash because I was so deep into Roo planning. However I did buy this jacket thinking of this skirt… it’s the first time I have combined the two!
Very cute outfit!
