In the Wardrobe Oxygen community on Facebook, a member asked about the quality of Quince home goods. Quince has branched out from apparel to bedding, bath towels, cookware, knives, flatwear, and other kitchen tools, as well as furniture, rugs, and home decor. I have had the opportunity to try several Quince non-apparel products and wanted to provide an honest Quince home goods review.

What is Quince?

Quince is an online retailer that claims to sell luxury for less. Carrying items similar to popular brands but for a fraction of the price, Quince has become popular for $50 cashmere sweaters, on-trend leather bags under $150, and the dream of luxe for less.

Honest Quince Home Goods Review

Over the past couple of years, I have either purchased or received store credit to try several styles of Quince apparel, bags, accessories, and outerwear. In recent months, I have also tried Quince bath sheets, bedding, knives, and other kitchen tools. Some have been awesome, some have been good but clearly cheaper versions of the inspiration, and some have not been worth my money or store credit.

Full disclosure, affiliate links are used in this post. Because I am a Quince ambassador, I receive a monthly stipend to spend there and can use it on whatever I wish. I have lately been using it on Quince home goods to get a feel for the quality and construction of these items.

I planned to do separate detailed reviews but wanted to do a quick summary for those who want honest reviews sooner rather than later. I am not afraid to write a negative review; my income is partially dependent on the commission I receive from purchases made from links on my site and social media. I also make income from you visiting the site and increasing views of ads.

If I provide unhelpful or untruthful reviews, I lose your trust and with it, your traffic. I would rather you purchase less and trust me, than buy based off my praise and regret it. Especially these days, I want to ensure you spend your money wisely so you can shop less and be happy with what you own. And with that, reviews of the Quince home goods I have tried so far.

Quince Bedding Review

I was excited to try Quince bedding. Through this job, I have had the opportunity to try some of the trendy and spendy bedding brands. I wanted to see if Quince could truly create a quality alternative for less.

Quince Bamboo Sheet Set

We cycle between two sets of sheets: a bamboo set from Ettitude and a cotton set from Boll & Branch (ALISON15 for 15% off). While the Boll & Branch set is still going strong after five years, the Ettitude set needed a replacement. I ordered the Quince Bamboo Sheet Set in the color Nightfall.

These sheets are extremely soft. They fit a deep mattress, and kept their color, size, and finish after going through the washer and dryer several times. However, they might be too soft. They progressively get softer and softer with each wash. For some, that may not be a thing, but these sheets have no structure and get super wrinkled, don't stay tucked in, and the pillowcases look too sloppy to be on display.

That doesn't mean we don't use these sheets and sleep well with them. The softness is nice, they are as cooling as our Ettitude sheets, and so far they have held up (I got them four months ago so they have been laundered often). Another thing to note is that “Nightfall” is a greenish navy. Do not expect these to match any other navy bedding, though the color is beautiful on its own or paired with other colors and neutrals.

Quince Bamboo Quilt

The Quince bamboo sheets may be sloppy-looking, but they feel nice. We thought we'd try the matching Quince Bamboo Quilt, which we also got in Nightfall. It is made of the same soft fabric as the sheets and the exact same color.

The quilting is done with little X/plus signs stitched in a pattern. Each X is stitched multiple times and is very secure. The edges of the Quince Bamboo Quilt are securely stitched and lay flat. We have a king bed and got the King/Cal King size, and it hangs long enough to cover the entire mattress on all sides.

This quilt is so soft and feels so good wrapped around you. It's well made, I like the color, but… the lining is polyester. That means you lose all the breathability from the bamboo fabric. And while we happily fall asleep under it, around 3 a.m, we both find ourselves waking in the middle of the night overheated and sweating.

I know many can sleep with a poly-filled quilt or comforter just fine, and if so, this is a fantastic buy. The twin-sized version would also make for a great nap or lounging blanket. The quilt washes very well, so this may be a good option if you want something that looks nice for your guest room or rental property. We still have it on our bed, but it is folded at the bottom to pull up only if it gets too cold.

FYI, if you want a quilt with 100% cotton fill instead of polyester, check out the Quince 100% Organic Cotton Quilt, Quince European Linen Cotton Stitch Quilt, Quince Organic Cotton Hand Stitched Quilt, and the Quince Silk Pick Stitch Quilt. I wish I had ordered one of these… I may this spring or summer and if so will update this review accordingly.

Quince Kitchen & Tabletop Review

I know we're not the only household replacing plastic kitchen tools and storage over time with metal, glass, and wood. With my latest Quince stipend, we decided to do some replacing as Quince carries a lot of flatwear, knives, cutting boards, and tools out of these materials.

Quince Stainless Steel French Press

We have a Nespresso, and we LOVE our Nespresso, but in an attempt to save money and reduce waste, we've decided to pull out our old French press. And we realized our old French press was made with black plastic and that plastic was looking scratched and gross. So we ordered the stainless option from Quince.

This is a good French press, and it's completely metal, with no plastic components. I don't know how a French press could be bad unless there isn't a good fit of the mesh plunger and the container and that's not an issue. It works, washes easily, looks attractive, and costs less than $30.

Quince Essential Japanese Damascus Steel Knife Set

We got our knife set in a block as a wedding gift. We'll be celebrating our 21st anniversary this June, and that gift of a knife set was purchased from Target. It was the nicest knife set that Target had in 2004, but the knives have plastic handles pretending to be wood, and the blades, even when sharpened, are only mid.

My husband is the primary cook in the family and wanted to try out the Quince Essential Japanese Damascus Steel Knife Set. While we ordered the set, each of the three knives came shipped in its own elegant black box with velvet-covered foam to secure the piece in place. This presentation is so nice, you could totally use this knife set as a gift.

The blades are nice.ย Quince Essential Japanese Damascus Steel Knife Setย knives are heavier than our Target ones of the same style, and the handles are wood. The only issue is that my husband is tall with large hands, and he finds the handles a bit too small for comfort. There is no grip or shape to the handles. As a smaller person, I find the knives comfortable, but I also wish the handles had a shape for better grip.

Quince Italian Olivewood Utensil Set

For less than $50, you get a wood-slotted spoon, blunt-end spoon, medium spoon, and large spoon in the Quince Italian Olivewood Utensil Set. Pre-oiled with food-safe mineral oil, the olivewood tools are produced in BSCI (Business Social Compliance Initiative) certified factories, which aim to improve working conditions throughout the supply chain and crafted in China of olivewood sourced from Italy.

The Quince Italian Olivewood Utensil Set is an excellent buy. The longest spoon is the large spoon at 14″; the shortest is the blunt-end spoon at 12″ in length. The wood is sanded silky smooth, and they feel substantial and look expensive. No complaints.

When we ordered the olivewood utensils, we also got the Olivewood Salad Servers (Set of 2). 12.5″ in length, the salad servers are beautiful, just as well made as the utensils, and a functional design that scoops up the greens and all the goodies mixed into your salad. Again, no complaints, and for less than $25 I think this is also a good buy.

Quince Bath Linens Review

I love a big bath sheet, so when Quince came out with towels, I tried one and reviewed it in my list of who makes the best bath sheet. Since then, I also tried the Quince Turkish Bath Sheet.

Turkish Classic Bath Sheet (Set of 2) Review

If you read my bath sheets review, you know I loved the Quince Turkish Classic Bath Sheet. Thick, plush, pretty color, larger than other bath sheets, and they have held up beautifully over the past year or two.

These are such nice towels, I would consider giving them as a housewarming or wedding gift. We got the color Mist which looks exactly as it does online. I am happy to see Quince has added more colors to this bath sheet; as the towels we own begin to fall apart and turn into rags, we likely will replace them with more Quince.

Turkish Ribbed Quick Dry Bath Sheet (Set of 2)

My sister loves Turkish towels for their quick-drying capabilities and travel-friendly weight. She always has one on travel and uses them as beach towels since they don't hold sand. When I saw Quince had Turkish bath sheets, I ordered a set, thinking I'd give them to her for Christmas.

The Quince Turkish Ribbed Quick Dry Bath Sheets are not typical Turkish towels. A Turkish towel is usually cotton without a nap/pile, and a fringed edge. These are… towels. Not nearly as thick as the Quince Classic Bath Sheet, but they are finely ribbed towels that are actually thicker than ones I've gotten in the past from Target.

These towels dry faster than any other we have, which is a great feature for those in humid climates or on the go. They are huge, like the other Quince bath sheets, which is awesome. While they are made from Turkish cotton, I feel it's misleading to call them Turkish towels.

Quince Luggage

While luggage isn't home goods, I figured I'd add it here since folks may be seeing reviews on the non-apparel Quince items. I also need to updateย my Quince luggage reviewย as I have used the suitcase on additional trips, including checking my luggage for a flight.

Quince Expandable Carry-On Hard Shell Suitcase – 20″

I have only tried one piece of Quince luggage: the Expandable Carry-On Hard Shell Suitcase – 20″. As you can see in my Quince suitcase review, I liked it. The only negative was that it was heavier than some of the competitors.

I also had many comment that you can't truly test a suitcase until you pack it to the gills and have it be checked for a flight. As someone who has gotten suitcases back that have been cracked, busted open, and missing wheels, I get it. Well, the Quince suitcase passed this test as well!

When I went to Las Vegas, I didn't pack light, and I checked two suitcases: my full-size Delsey and this Quince bag. And I packed this Quince suitcase so much I had to literally sit on it to close it, and it just was under the 50lb. limit for free checked luggage through Southwest.

It was fine for the flight there and back. All is working great, and looking great too. The one black scuff on the suitcase was easy to remove with the sponge that came with it upon purchase. My experience has me considering additional Quince luggage in the future.

Other Reviews of Quince

I plan to write a review dedicated to Quince leather bags as I have now tried five different ones with mixed results. I also need to update my Quince clothing review, as the company has drastically expanded since I wrote it. In general, I find Quince to be worth the price paid. However, I rarely find the item to be a “dupe” for the designer/expensive inspiration.

Have you tried Quince home goods? What have you found to be a win, and what deserves a warning. Are there any Quince home goods you would like me to review next?

  1. I haven’t tried any of these products yet but am going to need to start replacing some towels soon, so this is good timing.

I would love to get your reviews on the jeans. Fifty dollars sounds so nice and the reviews on Quince’s site for every pair I’ve looked at pretty good. I’m also starting to see more bloggers/influencers review them, but I don’t necessarily trust all of them like I do you. It’s one thing to “try” them on and tell me how great they are but if they go back to wearing their Mother’s and we never see those lower cost jeans again, then I’m a little suspicious.

  2. We have the exact same sheet set. We do love sleeping on them. Theyโ€™re often washed and go right back on the bed. That said they do lose shape and wrinkle just as described. The way I make up the bed sort of hides it all, so I donโ€™t care.

Iโ€™m glad I skipped that quilt, but like you wonder about the linen all cotton. I await the update!

  3. I bought a set of the linen sheets to replace West Elm sheets. The Quince sheets are softer. I also bought linen blackout curtains, they are a bit heavy but look nice.
