D 120306 070D 120306 068D 120306 082It was Summer in the Nation's Capital, if only for a day. We woke up on Saturday to it being over 60 degrees, and by 2pm it was 80 degrees in the sun. My husband, our friend and I decided to head to Annapolis for the day, have lunch, people watch and enjoy the amazing weather (the hubby is in the gray polo and cargo shorts, the friend is in the pic with me. Not the best of the hubby, but HAD to show shorts in January!!!).

White ribbed tank from J. Crew, aquamarine tissue-weight hooded long-sleeved tee from Old Navy, dark denim pencil skirt from Gap, black flip flops from Reef.

Hair was washed and conditioned with L'Oreal Professional Kiwi Coloreflector line, then a bit of Nexxus Texxtur and Straight Sexy Hair Shine On! mixed together, then blown straight with a round brush.

Makeup is L'Oreal true Match foundation in C3 and concealer in W4-5, Smashbox Soft Lights in Tint, Revlon ColorStay shadow quad in Neutral – khaki on the lids. L'Oreal Voluminous mascara in black and on lips is Revlon ColorGlide Sheer in Sheer Burgundy (though barely showing in the pictures because they are post-eating).

We stopped at an Irish pub for a salad, wine for me, beer for the friend, iced tea for the hubby who is preparing for yoga school for a month (no meat, no spirits). We then went to a sushi bar for a few fun rolls, some sake and green tea. We then took lots of pictures and walked the area. then headed to a local popular place for a local drink. then to the mall where my hubby got me my early birthday gift of an iPod Nano – listening to it now! It's so exciting to be in the 21st century with electronics – makes the work day fly by!
