As I shared in my post where I shared stylish flag sweaters, I am supporting Kamala Harris for president. And if you are too, below are some stylish ways to support the election.

Stylish Ways to Support the Election

one (18 colors, XS-3X) | two (3 colors, 2 fits, S-2X) | three (S-3X) | four (3 colors, XS-4X) | five (S-3X) | six (13 colors, XS-5X) | seven (18 colors, XS-3X) | eight (XS-3X) | nine (9 colors, S-5X) | ten (S-3X) | eleven (XS-3X) | twelve (9 colors, XS-5X) | thirteen (XS-3X) | fourteen (S-3X) | fifteen (4 colors, S-3X)

T-shirts always are the most popular merch for elections, and they are so fun to hold onto and wear years later, pass down to others, maybe even turn into a quilt or pillow. These are the 15 shirts I saw that caught my eye and were fun, stylish, and fit a range of personal style aesthetics.

Support your state and your political party with pride. A selection of official democratic party merch for various U.S. states. Don't see your state here? Just go to your favorite search engine and put in your state and the word “dems” to find your state's Democratic Party site, and then search to see if it has a store.

I understand not everyone reading Wardrobe Oxygen has the same political views I do. I also know not everyone reading lives in the U.S. If this isn't your cup of tea, you can keep scrolling just as those who are not petite, do not have wide feet, large busts, or curly hair scroll when I discuss irrelevant topics. I get it if my beliefs make you want to unsubscribe and stop following me. But do know this isย myย virtual home. I will welcome you and offer you a seat, but I will not allow you to talk smack about me or my other guests.

If you wish to leave, you may do so without announcing your exit. But I encourage you to be open to other opinions and consider that this is not a single-issue election. While I write about politics on occasion and have for two decades, my style and content are for all. And even if we do not see eye to eye, if you understand this is my home, you are welcome here.

  1. I tried to order that poppy bandana (and a couple other things) and they don’t ship to Nevada…how strange. We are a swing state, y’all! Anyway, I will keep checking.

  2. Non voter from Australia here – but very much a Karmala supporter! I had to look up what โ€œ,laโ€ was?!?!?

  3. Great post, so hyped up this week! The shirt links helped me find a different shirt, but I want too many of them! Love your site and insights ๐Ÿ™‚
Gonna go DO SOMETHING (well after the next 2 nights of convention).

  4. Got an AVGDC t-shirt for me and a Kamala 47 bandana for my 19YO son. Thanks for a great curation of neat ways to show support and foster hope, as always! ๐Ÿ™‚

  5. Love this post and the gracious welcome of all people willing to be respectful to you in your home! This whole post really made my day. Thank you!

    1. Same, sooooo much! I much prefer a shaped tee, I don’t like looking like a box. That said, I love that tee and I’m so bummed that it (and all their other cat tees!) is sold out. Spoken as a childless cat lady who is for Harris.

  6. I ordered a couple of sweatshirts from All Very Good DC that you linked in a previous post. They shipped super fast! I bought one for my cat Mom friend โค๏ธ and one for me. Iโ€™ll wear it with pride. Thanks for all the suggestions.

  7. Great post, Alison! I see many items that I want for myself and many that I’ll be purhcasing for my family for Christmas.

  8. Mixing politics and fashion and COMFORT–I have decided to go all out in this election cycle with essentially full time work. I’m an Old, so this may be the last time I can take that on. (I say that every year). I hesitate to order t-shirts online because they are often too clingy and the sleeves too short for me to feel comfortable. The local campaign offices usually have some variations, but again they’re cut for 20 year old boys and girls. Men’s sizes big enough to accommodate my chest come down to the knees on my 5 foot self.
I need a uniform for 14 hour campaign days that may include being out in neighborhoods or working at rallies. Jeans start feeling hot, heavy, and uncomfortable at some point.
The work is hard, sometimes physical, stressful, and often out in the sun. What on earth can a grown ass woman wear to look at least halfway put together when she’s neither the candidate nor a college age volunteer?
Thank goodness for sneakers! The old shoe conundrum is solved.

    1. Thank you for your campaign work!
I joined a postcard-writing effort to swing states and it feels good to DO SOMETHING.

    2. Thank you for your work.

Alison has a how to dress as a candidate post from 2018? Maybe.

Much of it wonโ€™t be looking for.

But candidates do have to do outdoor events in the summer, like walk in July 4th parades, so there might be some advice for those kinds of situations

    3. Also, Alison has some posts on athletic wear, such as when she was taking golf lessons.

Sheโ€™s reviewed skorts. She has an athletic/weekend running errands, etc dress in recent capsules that might work.

And she has posts on how to customize Ts to fit.

  9. Thank you for this post, Alison! It speaks loudly and clearly!
I will be getting a Kamala cap

  10. Alison – thanks for this post. It never occurred to me to check out what merchandise state parties might have.

Also, you mentioned readers who live abroad.

Many Americans living abroad arenโ€™t aware that they can still vote! Check out https://www.votefromabroad.org/ for how. But hurry. Early voting starts in ~1 month & the last day to vote is Tues, Nov 5 – <80 days.
