Sunday
Went to a small concert venue (250 seats, you sit and are served drinks while you watch the entertainment) in Annapolis with my husband and his cousin. We had dinner beforehand at a nearby restaurant.
Teal cotton babydoll top from Old Navy, black stretch poplin trousers from Caslon, gray-green glass bead and silver necklace from Target, silver cuff, black leather thong heels from Mossimo.
Hair was washed, conditioned, a bit of Jonathan Silky Dirt applied while damp. Let air dry 50% and then dried the rest with a round brush and dryer. It was terribly hot and humid even in our old little house, so I didn't even attempt to get it smooth or very straight. It ended up quite pretty – feminine and puffy in a good way. A bit of Jonathan Silky Dirt to it when dry got rid of any excess frizz.
Makeup is Smashbox Photo Finish foundation primer (clear), L'Oreal True Match foundation in C3, concealer in W4-5, Cargo Matte Beach Blush in Tenerife. On lids was Pop Beauty's shadow set for brown eyes – the yellowish shade on the lids, the black applied wet to the top lash line. Lashes curled, two coats of Max Factor Lash Perfection in black and on lips was e.l.f. SPF 15 lipgloss in Watermelon.
E.l.f. is… fun. I don’t love it but I have used worse. For $1 it’s fun to try it out…
this is my favorite outfit on you…. I’m very happy its affordable… I love the necklace… Is elf makeup any good? I have like 3 years worth of lippies right now (thanks mom, lols) but I love inexpensive lip products. It looks real nice.
1. love, love, love this color on you!
2. love your new site makeover
3. really appreciated the comment you left on my blog the other day about your body shop experience. these past few days have been exceptionally tough, but i thought of you and felt better. ๐ so, thanks.
btw I never knew you had such long lashes. Lucky girl!
What’s up with the downturned face? Hiding your identity or showing of your eye shadow skills? ๐
