My other bargain from the Motherhood Maternity Outlet in Rehoboth Beach – only $9.99 and super soft! The pants were given to me by a friend – with a safety pin they work as maternity pants. Pretty cool since now the only shoes that fit me are these booties and my Duo boots and I had an important conference today where I had to dress in a manner more professional than casual leather boots and I am down to just a couple of black pants that are all in need of a washing. I caved in and ordered some new shoes in a wider and larger size, they should arrive next week. I had to return the round-toe wedges from Report – after two wearings with bare legs and a few wearings around the house in socks they still tear up my ankles to the point that I can't wear any other pumps for two weeks. Not cool at all.
Well the conference went really well – I was in charge of a major aspect of it (my first real time with this company where I was the one in charge of such an important event) and it went quite well. BIG relief; the prepping has been stressful the past week and I am glad to have it over and done with. Now I better sign off and get ready to work on the next project! ๐
Allie, you look so stylish and classy. The gold jewelry adds a great touch!I have to try gold more!
Debbie, thank you for the tip, how nice of you! I looked at the jewelry armoires you suggested and would like about seven different ones! Unfortunately (well, in this particular case anyway), I live in Norway and we do not have Target stores. They don’t ship either. Back to work ๐ But again a big thank you!
found you via la belette rouge and how cute are you?!?!?! adorable.
golla – I was at Target the other day and saw that they have a whole line of jewelry armoires for around $100-150 each. I was really excited to see this as I’ve wanted one like Allie’s, but it sold out really quickly and I couldn’t find a different one that I liked at a reasonable price-point.
Here’s the link to their line:

You always look so pulled together, today is no exception. Agree with Sal in that I am not surprised the conference went well! Appreciate the practical touches like the safety pin in your trousers ๐ Now I am seriously working on finding a jewelry-chest after reading about yours a while ago (very inspiring and relieved to hear that I am not the only one who grow out of jewelry boxes, he he).
You look so chic today!
I know you probably got an email about this since you are a loyal Banana Republic shopper, and I know BR isn’t maternity-friendly, but I thought other readers might like to know that BR is having a three-day sale (today through Sunday) where all dresses are 40% off. I know I love BR dresses, but usually their prices are too high for me to justify buying them. 40% off is a pretty big discount, so I think I may be able to justify some purchases..
Have a nice weekend!
You look lovely and professional, lady. No wonder the conference went so well.
I have given you a bloggy award. Come on over and claim it!:-)
