2014 is the year where I embrace comfort, embrace my current body, and pardon my French, stop giving a fuck what strangers think and just be happy. Itโs easy to get caught up in what is โflatteringโ or โage-appropriateโ and end up feeling frustrated and stressed out. I believe in dressing for respect and dressing… Continue Reading 2014: The Year of the Shorts!

I love Universal Standard for their elevated wardrobe essentials available in sizes 00-40, but I also love the brand’s mission to democratize fashion beyond their label. One of the ways Universal Standard does this is by collaborating with designer brands to push them beyond their limited size range. The most recent brand that Universal Standard… Continue Reading Erdem x Universal Standard Review of the Myrtle Denim Jumpsuit

Have you ordered anything else from Lands End Canvas? I am wanting to order a dress from there, but am a bit worried about the sizing. Lands End stuff can be really big! If you have, is it similar?
This is the scarf:

It is 27″ square. I fold it on the angle – one point to center, opposite point to center, fold again (like you do when you make a square scarf a headband). End up with a 3″ wide band. Tie a single knot in the center of the strip, then two on either side. The tips/ends I tie a very tiny knot at the tips just to close the loop.
OK, Allie, I don’t understand the 3 knot scarf trick…..it’s cute as hell, but what size was the scarf and where did you place the knots??? Sorry, but I need more visual help. Thanks! Glad to have you back, BTW. Missed you while you were “on sabbatical”.
I love your scarf idea! that is so cute! And you look so great today!
Cute idea for the scarf – I’ll have to try that out! Love the heels!
I have no idea how you stand in those shoes.
I love your trick with the scarf! very cute! you look great! ๐
