Tuesday
No pics from Monday, I didn't have a camera and well… I didn't even look too cute. My teal Proenza Schouler dress and black ballet flats.
Today – black cotton stretchy v-neck sweater from Banana Republic, dark denim skirt from Gap, avocado pashmina from Nordstrom, tan Bern boots from Duo, silver cuff and hoops.
Hair is second day, blown straight with round brush and dryer on dry hair, then used the curling iron to smooth bangs and some fuzzy places. Itsy bit of BioSilk to ends.
Makeup is L'Oreal True Match concealer in W4-5, philosophy's The Supernatural in Beige, Cargo Matte BeachBlush in Tenerife, Revlon Super Lustrous Lip Gloss in Glossy Rose, Revlon ColorStay shadow quad in Neutral Khakis – ivory in inner corners of eyes, khaki and olive blended and on lid and along lash lines. Lahses curled, DiorShow mascara in Black.
That is one of the most perfect outfits I have ever seen. And that pashmina is to die for!
I’ve been checking out your blog daily for about a month now. I’m highly impressed by your resolve to post every single day (with te occasional tripping-and-busting-the-camera incidents). And it’s made me want to do the same, post my daily outfit, but you know, I highly doubt mine would be as nifty and cool as yours. 😉
I loooove that pashmina. I’m definitely a scarf-just-because kind of gal so I can totally appreciate what you did with the green one. Bravo.
You look awesome! And the boots are fun. Now, after miss lu said that she wanted you boots and pashmina – I must say that I want your silver cuff! Looked on the Net and had a friend check out bracelets in Turkey – no such luck :'(
Did you have to get a new camera? Hope you enjoy it.
I love your avacado green pashimina. Great outfit!! You look so pretty.
I want your pashmina, or at least my own scarf in that color! It looks so good on you.
And I want your boots!!!
I love the pop of color that the scarf gives your outfit! You’ve convinced me to go back to Urban Outfitters to get a long emerald green scarf I’ve been eyeing!
I’ve been trying the black mixed with brown lately. I don’t know why I always thought it was such a ‘no no’, but I dig it now.
Anyhoo… darling boots!
And I MUST comment on the clothing iron for your hair… I used to do this in 7th grade and it (along with other forms of abuse) fried my hair. I’m sure you’re using a lower setting and preventative products, but I had to chuckle, because using the clothing iron for hair hadn’t occurred to me in EONS.
I AM due for a new straightener… I’d ask you which is your favorite but I guess I know that you prefer Black & Decker =)
I just got it – it’s on sale right now and I was making a return so I didn’t feel as bad indulging. Also my old aqua one is faded, torn and has gone through many flights and world trips and wears and was ready to be replaced. Thought it was going to be more jade, but happy with this 70s kitchen appliance color – nice contrast color that will go with so many other hues!
I love love love the green pashmina!
I think people get afraid of color sometimes & need to see how to wear it well 🙂
I never would have thought to pair a black sweater with brown boots – but it looks AWESOME. I’m totally inspired! The green is heavenly. Another hit!
What a gorgeous color in the pashmina – I wish I could get away with that green!
Love the outfit today! I really like the pasmina. I got a ton of them from my last trip to India but didn’t have a clue how to wear them. Now I do.
