Earlier this year, I attended an event to celebrate the curvy community in the DC area. ย I knew it would be amazing fashion, and wanted to stand out but still remain comfortable. ย I really wanted a jumpsuit, and googled plus size sequin jumpsuit and found this one from Ellos. I was meeting with Ellos and… Continue Reading What I Wore: Jumpsuit Sparkle

Many style icons and experts discuss buying wardrobe staples and how they wear the same pieces theyโve owned for decades. As a woman who in the past dozen years had a baby and went from a size 10/12 to a 16 to a 12 and back to a 14/16 and now a 12/14, whose feet… Continue Reading My Best Fashion Buys from the Past Decade

Yep, DC area born and bred! Glad to have you here, I also write at http://www.wardrobeoxygen.com about fashion for real people. Hope I can be of help and don’t be a stranger! ๐
this is funny! i wondered if you live in D.C. when i saw you refer to “the Metro” in one of your posts! i live in NOVA, and this is *so* true!
this is my first time on your blog. i need HELP! with my wardrobe, and I Googled “Mommy fashion Blogs” and yours came up! i’ll be watching your blog for help, now that I know about your posts, and we’re in the same geographic area (so same weather and stores!)
haha, as soon as it started I knew it was the same guy who did the Arlington Rap. Hilarious.
the arlington rap is also money.
but yes, this metro one is so spot-on!
Oh this made me laugh, gonna make G watch it when he gets home! Any time we go into D.C. we take the metro (unless we’re going to dinner where there’s valet). I think the best part of taking it is watching the tourists who have never been on a freakin’ subway system before. It’s not hard, but damn do they get perplexed.
