Emerson wanted part of the action… and as you can see in the full length photo, so did Ruckus. Last night my husband gave me the best present – he stayed with Emerson all night with a bottle so I got six hours of UNINTERRUPTED sleep! I thought I was doing okay, but last night I went to hug Ruckus and fell asleep on him. Didn't even realize it, it was like once I hit his fur I passed out. I have also hard a hard time finding the right word for what I am thinking. Now I feel so much more like… me! Don't get me wrong, Emerson is a fabulous baby who goes to sleep right after eating, but still she eats around every three hours. This was a much needed treat for me to keep plugging through the work week!
Boy! how I miss those baby cheeks. All of my kids had very chubby cheeks lots of rolls and were in the 90+ percentile.
My kids still have big cheeks but filled out now.

Such a sweet picture! & you are so stylish, as always.
These two pictures are just SO adorable! Teeny baby bodies are nothing but cute. I love the necklace too!
Come on! You don’t really expect us to even notice you while you are holding that adorable baby, do you? ๐
Gotta add, mega bonus points for still giving time and attention to doggie.
Way to go super mommy! I love this picture.
Aw, Emerson! Those cheeks! NOM, NOM, NOM!
You both look great!
And I totally hear ya – it’s amazing what a nice block of sleep can do for a new mommy.
You are both so beautiful ๐
Awwwww
Oh and one more comment…check out Emerson admiring mom’s necklace! I am sure we will be seeing pictures of “all dressed up” Emerson in mommy’s accessories! Can’t wait!
I love your posts Allie! And now you are in the category of Super Mom! You are tired because you have an amazing Super Power – Mommy Power and Career Mommy Power! Your husband is a great man and a wonderful father! What a totally great family you guys have! I remember when my girls were little – and going to the set to work on an actress was really hard for me to do! I went one time with the youngest in a sling and did makeup while she was sleeping! We moms do what we have to do! Welcome to the club sister! Good news is this – when Emerson is the age of my girls – she will admire you and you will be one of her heros (I am sure Daddy will be the other)!
everyone wants to be with you!
You guys are both looking fabulous!!
