Red crepe jersey dress from Maggy London, black tights from target, black heeled oxfords from BCBGirls, diamond studs from Diamond Nexus Labs, silver cuff.
Hair was washed, condition and dried with the Croc wet-to-dry flat iron. No product. No hairdryer… can't decide whether to suck it up and get a good one or purchase whatever is available at Target that will work with a diffuser for my curly-haired days.
Makeup is philosophy The Supernatural concealer trio in Light, The Supernatural powder foundation in Beige, Nars blush in Orgasm, Revlon ColorStay shadow quad in neutral Khakis – the ivory in inner corners and on lid, lashes curled and two coats of Cover Girl LashBlast with a coat of Imju Fiberwig over it, Maybelline UltraLiner in black on top lash line and on lips is Revlon ColorStay lip color in Rich Raisin.
And a hello to Kate – it was so nice to meet you! I felt a bit awkward, being recognized for the blog is a new thing and I felt a bit shy. ๐ But it was a pleasure to wait for my ride home with you!
love this dress!
That dress is pretty!
I would get a reasonable dryer. I paid £15 ($30ish) for mine and it has ions which are supposed to help flatten down your hair. It also has ceramic technology. I used to have a £7 dryer and the one I have now is so much better.
I don’t really puff it on my face, I just buff it around. It says to puff but that seems to apply too much product on me… there’s an initial puff on the face and then I move the sponge top in a circular motion to spread the powder. When I was pushing the puff to get more product per the instructions it did seem to just sit on my face and look really matte and powdery.
Ok, since your skin always looks so gorgeous when you use your Philosophy The Supernatural-just exactly HOW are you applying it? I bought it and well, the results are just “meh” on me, certainly nothing like yours. My skin really doesn’t need much coverage but it just seems to sit there right on top, I can get it to blend in at all.
Hey chica! You look gorgeous! I am writing a new entry at http://www.littlemissblackwell.blogspot.com about my white pants and how YOU inspired me to buy them and I have loved them ever since (especially now that I have figured out how to wash them–in my delicates mesh bag–so it doesn’t cost me 7.00 in dry cleaning every wear!)
That red dress is lovely on you.
And I think you would enjoy Men May Come And Men May Go, But I’ve Still Got My Little Pink Raincoat: life & love in and out of my wardrobe, by Gigi Anders.
Have a fabulous day, babe!
You might want to try Sally’s for a good mid-priced dryer. I got this one about 3yrs ago and it’s been great (much less frizzyness than my old drugstore Conair).

Is there such a thing as a good hairdryer? Does spending more equal longer life? My hairdryers last about one year.
