What I Wore: Cool Blues
Shirt: Lands' End (14) | Skirt: Etsy | Bag: Topshop | Earrings: Bought at a music festival
With my broken toe, my daily work wardrobe has gotten mundane, but maxi dresses and skirts are a way to add fun while still wearing my roomy sensible flat shoes. I'm surprised at how often I wear this Ankara maxi skirt (last seen on the blog here). I pair with a tee shirt and denim jacket and have also worn with a black turtleneck sweater. I look forward to the temps rising so I can pair it with a simple ribbed tank or one of my many band tees!
The print of that skirt is so marvelous—I know I sound like a broken record at times, but those colors suit you!! jodie

Love not just the outfit but the setting for the photo shoot – just lovely!
Thank you! We couldn’t miss up on such a beautiful day and likely the last snow of the season!
Fabulous look! That skirt is a winner and I like how you’ve styled here with the simple blue shirt.
Thanks so much!
Check you out, gorgeous! This is anything but mundane.

Thank you!
I wore our matching skirt on Saturday night to go out to dinner here in San Diego with friends-I wore mine with a black teeshirt (J Crew), ancient jean jacket (Old Navy), black heels and a green chunky necklace. I’m so glad you introduced me to it!
Oooh that sounds like an awesome combination! Love that we’re skirt twins!
i LOVE this skirt! and how you styled it. plus, the wintery, slushy backdrop is perfect. well, there you have it – fabulousness from every angle.
