What I Wore: Black and Blue
I had planned to wear these pants and shoes with a different sweater this past Friday, but with this hair the sweater (batwing sleeves, banded bottom, tunic, speckled black and white) looked matronly. Black on black seemed too boring (and I already did that outfit), so I decided navy. It is super close, but I think that's why I like it. A bolder color would have been too obvious, gray would have made the pants gloomy, navy is one of my favorite colors lately so navy it is! I love this sweater and wear it to death; part of me thinks I should get another in a different color, but I don't NEED another and a second one may ruin the love I have for this one. In 2014 I am trying to purchase less, buy what fills holes or I need instead of what is “omigod so cute/fabulous/unique, would be perfect for a blogger event/cocktail party/networking happy hour, would really make me feel like a rockstar/chic/elegant/professional.” It's so hard, but saying no to a second of these sweaters is a step in the right direction!
I love the bag. I’m not usually a huge Rebecca Minkoff fan, but that particular bag is amazing!
Looking hot in those pants! I like the navy on you too – I’ve got similar colouring and I wear a lot of blue.
I don’t know how else to say this: DAMN!!! Chicness? Sure. Hotness? OH YEAH.
Oh the pants ! they’re like music for my eyes ? What i mean to say is that they rock.
Great look!! I love black and navy together. It’s just a little edgy without being too OTT.
Oh, I gotta try those faux-leather pants. I see they’re washable too! And you look fabulous wearing them. xo
