What I Wore: Stereotypical
jacket | sweater | jeans | boots | earrings | lipstick
Jacket: c/o Foxcroft (14) | Sweater: J. Crew Factory (L; FYI goes up to XXL) | Jeans: c/o JAG Jeans (14P) | Booties: Nine West (similar) | Earrings: eBay (similar) | Lipstick: NARS “Bette”
I put this outfit together and Karl commented that it was so stereotypical me. Stripes, leopard, and a bit of leather. Guess after all these years blogging my clothes I've finally defined my personal style!
Foxcroft sent me this jacket… did you know Foxcroft does jackets? And this jacket is sooo good. It's a soft wool blend that gives and moves with you but looks and feels so luxe. The lapels are faux leather but that good stuff that isn't too shiny or rubbery and looks legit next to genuine leather pieces. I got this blazer over a month ago and have been waiting for it to be cool enough to sport it.
I picked this sweater up in August when I visited the J. Crew Factory store at the outlets in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. You know I love a good stripe, and I loved the bird detail and how it kept it from being like every other shirt. When I wore it the other day I had someone ask if it was Comme des Garรงons. LOLOLOLOLZZZZZZZZZZ give me a moment to catch my breath after that giggling fit!
Love your hair and lipstick in these pics!!!
Thanks so much!
I think I would love this with black trousers but the navy ones look off to me. Was it intentional to pair black/navy? It might just be the lighting but they look too close in colour to the black to be intentional ๐ Otherwise I’m fully on board, love a breton stripe! (Also that is a really nice lipstick for autumn!)
They’re jeans, just a dark wash ๐
Hair color is looking fabulous!
Thank you! I always feel more myself when it’s a cool dark brown!
I didn’t even know what Commes des Garcons was—thanks for the link!!
It’s a great look!!
And your smile is the best!

Thanks Jodie!
If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. ๐ Stripes and leopard print are always a good combo!
Two patterns that act like neutrals!
