One thing I tire of quickly is jackets. I can get the coolest blazer with the trendiest details and after a couple months I am so over it and regret how much I spent on it. While I wore it in a more casual look for this shoot, I think this jacket would look fabulous with a white blouse and trousers, or with a turtleneck and colored denim tucked into riding boots. I love that I can keep this jacket as long as I desire, or send it back after one wear… and even borrow it again later in the season! Ooh, I love that blazer! I am very into the burgandy colours that are fashionable this year as they really suit me. I’d definitely get a lot of wear out of that blazer. I’ll keep my eye out for something similar…

Alison, I LOVE your blog! I am a size 14-16 woman ans although I am much older than you, your style is similar to mine. I have recently bought 4 scarves (Gap Outlet, Ross for Less and Franchesca’s) because you look so classy in yours.
