Women’s Seersucker Pantsuit with Blush Pink
In the winter, workwear is easy. Come the warmer months, it's harder to find pieces that look appropriate in an office setting while also being seasonally appropriate. Enter seersucker, a lightweight cotton fabric that breathes while also providing more structure than linen. I just got this women's seersucker pantsuit and have worn it with a graphic tee, but for this post decided to dress it up with my blush pink camisole (recently seen in this post) and nude pumps.

I didn't get this suit altered, this is the fit right out of the box and the second wear so I could test how much the unlined pants stretch out. It's clear the answer is not that much. Sure, they do stretch but you won't end up with a saggy bum by the end of the day.
Seersucker can look quite fresh and modern depending on how you style it. Pairing with a pastel feels springy and dresses it up. A graphic tee on a white or navy background can dress it down and make it look hip with a pair of trendy sneakers. Or borrow from the boys with a crisp white shirt (or white silk blouse) and a pair of brogues for a look that is chic yet comfortable. This blazer would look great with white or blue jeans, the pants lovely on their own with a pastel sweater or silky tee!
The earrings are from Zara.ย Zara is great for accessories like earrings and bags that make a statement… but don't expect super high quality.ย Sadly after wearing this outfit one of the earrings broke.ย When I have the time and patience to play with tiny jump rings and a tiny pair of pliers I'll get them back together but it's still a pain in the you know what.ย Same with their clothes… great statements but not always the best quality.ย That being said, I have Zara bags several years old that still look great.ย Just know you usually get what you paid for it!
The clutch is from Dagne Dover, and like the rest of their bags it is so smartly designed. Two pockets big enough to hold things like a large iPhone, an elastic band to hold your lipstick, pockets for IDs, cash, and other cards, and it all snaps up to stay secure. Carry as a wristlet or remove the strap and carry as a clutch. This is a great travel piece as it can go from wallet to purse with ease.

I know that it is probably a ridiculous bias but I can’t get past it. I strongly associate seersucker suits with Tennessee Williams plays about the southeastern US and hot, humid southern courtrooms illegally and unjustly convicting innocent African- American men. As good as that seersucker looks on you, I am stuck with my dark images of the fabric.
Wow! Such a cute outfit! It looks cool and comfy! Now I’m thinking I need to get some seersucker for summer. Thanks for the great post!
I love Talbots for their love of seersucker. I have a gray seersucker pantsuit that I wear for casually dressy occasions in spring. The gray feels slightly more upscale than the classic blue. I think they are fun and when I worked in an office, I wore the suit frequently in the spring.
I have such a soft spot for seersucker–it’s a fabric my mom loves and it always reminds me of her! Your earlier winter styling of an ice-blue suit with black reminded me of the colorway and this suit is really cute with the pink. You’re so right that it is a fabric that helps beat the heat, too! I’ll add myself to the folks who would love to see your version of statement tee/sneaks!
Your hair looks amazing in these photos! I like the suit. It looks fresh and iconicly summer.
Am author I’ve read for 30 years got a seersucker suit and immediately commenced referring to it as a cocksucker suit, which I found totally charming, and how I have thought of them ever since. Yours looks lovely on you!
That suit is lovely and looks great on you! Such a classic fabric but in a modern style.
You look amazing and this post is very timely for me. I just bought similar seersucker pants and I have been struggling with tops – beyond white ts and shirts. The blush pink looks so good with the pants and blazer.
I’d love to see the graphic tee shirt and sneakers paired with these pants too!
I would love to see the graphic tee and sneakers styling. I have a seersucker pantsuit that was a hand-me-down from my mother and I’ve struggled to style it for anything other than a Kentucky Derby party.
