What I Wore: An ELOQUII Valentine (and a giveaway!)
It's no secret that I have a crush on ELOQUII. For so many years, plus size fashion was devoid of fun. After a short stint as part of The Limited, ELOQUII came back on their own with a mission to make fun and fashionable plus size apparel. And boy do they deliver! Gorgeous color, cutting edge trends, and clothing that celebrates the wearer, doesn't hide her. The people behind the brand are just as awesome – they truly love their customers and want to provide them with an awesome style experience, whether it's with an online purchase or in one of their brick and mortar stores (I'm lucky to live near one of the three ELOQUII stores here in DC and shopping there is such a treat). I couldn't think of any other brand I'd want to wear on Valentine's Day than ELOQUII.
Dress: Lace Fit and Flare c/o ELOQUII (14) | Bag: ALLSAINTS | Shoes: Dune of London
I am attending an event later this month where the dress code is pink and cocktail attire. I asked ELOQUII if I could have this dress. This dress is just as pretty in person as it is online. I decided to wear it to dinner at Fish by Jose Andres when we visited MGM National Harbor this weekend. I love hot pink with leopard, and pulled out these calf hair pumps I bought a year or so ago. However, this dress would look great with nude pumps, a delicate strappy heel in a soft metallic, or even a pointed toe flat in a contrast color like Kelly green. With the lace sleeves, this is a three-season dress that would be great for Date Night, a holiday party, or a wedding.
2017 was the year I truly fell in love with ELOQUII. Some of my favorite clothes in my closets are from the brand. I wore ELOQUII to Diner en Blanc, wore ELOQUII on television to model for the brand, even hosted an event at their DC-area store. I love that if there's a trend out there I want to embrace (hello pajama trend!), ELOQUII likely has made it and in a way that flatters a curvy frame.
When ELOQUII heard I was hosting giveaways to celebrate you, the Wardrobe Oxygen readers, they were excited to participate. ELOQUII generously is offering one Wardrobe Oxygen reader a $300 e-gift card to have a little shopping spree to treat herself. Offering clothing as well as accessories, footwear, lingerie, and swimwear, ELOQUII can outfit you from head to toe in fabulous fashion. Thank you ELOQUII for this giveaway and for being an all-around awesome brand!
You wear that color well! I would purchase that dress in a heart beat!
There’s a great black faux leather moto I’m digging, and their destructed denim looks right up my spooky alley.
Their Kady pants are a favorite.
I haven’t tried Eloquii yet, but I really need to. I had to buy a new business suit last year, and had the absolute worst time finding anything that fit over my bust in regular stores. Definitely eyeing the Ali jacket, and the Kady pants in the Gena fit (because all my weight is in my belly and chest, and my legs are like toothpicks).
I have not tried ELOQUII but all their stuff that you were looks great; I’d love to try them!
I’ve heard such great things about the Kady pants and I really need to update my work wardrobe – always love your posts about Eloquii!
Still haven’t tried Eloquii, but the dresses are always beautiful!
I’d love to try the Kady pants. Thank you for doing these giveaways, they’re a lot of fun!
You look amazing! I’ve admired Eloquii but haven’t tried thwm out yet!
I would totally get the Grace pointed toe flat (maybe in a few different colors) so I can jump on the loafer trend.
Love everything about this frock – it has colour, texture, shape and swing. Don’t we all need more of that in our lives?
I’ve never bought anything from Eloquii but everything seems so cute!
I’ve been dying to try Eloquii! Their stuff looks amazing.
I found Eloquii through you & im a huge fan!
There are so many great Eloqui choices. It’s going to be difficult to narrow it down to only a few pieces.
Iโd love a pair of distressed jeans.
Their catalogue came in the mail earlier this week. My daughter circled all the things she thought I should order and that she could wear when I grow tired of them. Sheโs six.
I love http://www.eloquii.com/moto-jacket/1275944.html?utm_campaign=likeshopme&utm_medium=social&utm_source=instagram&utm_content=www.instagram.com/p/BercQGalVb4/
I’d like to get a pair of Kady pants to match my Quinn jacket
I would get the Corset Laced Puff Sleeve Top. That cobalt color is gorgeous!!!
Love the pink dress, you look amazing! Eloqui has beautiful clothing, I am eyeing up the polka dot crepe pant and 3/4 puff sleeve top.
Love the dress! You look fabulous in it. I adore lace.
Looking fantastic
Fantastic dress. I find myself in cusp sizes these days and after I have this next baby in a couple of months a small shopping spree to fit my postpartum body and beyond world do this mama good!
I would love to try a dress! I have some tops and pants, but I really need a fun spring dress…
The hot pink leopard combo is amazing on you! Honestly, though, I’d prefer to see a lower neckline on the dress… The funny thing to me is that before following your blog I would never have realized that what I felt was a bit “off” was the high neckline with a longer midi hemline! Thank you for helping me hone in on my own preferences!!!
I love the pink with the animal print shoes!!!
New Spring outfit!
Lovely dress! And I love your blog!
Perfect dress for valentine’s day!
I always wondered about Eloquii but have never pulled the trigger on a purchase. I will have to take another look!
I love Eloquii, and I am so glad they offer some items in petite cuts. I am a 12/14 and only 5’1 so some of their items run large on me, and I struggle with the lengths. But I would love the polka dot bell sleeve top!
I need some more Kady pants!
Not in it for the giveaway — just to say, you look so, so lovely. You make that dress light up.
Huge fan of Eloquii! Over the past year they have become my go-to for business and casual wear. Can’t say which item I would purchase, because I have a cart full ready to go on the website as I type! Seems like Eloquii always has something for me when I need a fashion fix.
I dont know what if purchse, so far everything I get is a winner. I LOVE Eloquii
I dont know what I’d purchase if I win . . .sorry no coffee yet.
I would purchase the floral with flowers dress if I won.
Such a beautiful dress!! I could see wearing it on a date or to church! I am a huge fan of Eloquii and their amazing styles for curvy women!!
Ooh, that dress looks fantastic! I wouldnโt have considered it until now. Iโd like to invest in a pant suit
The balconette bodysuit! And some jeans. Definitely jeans!
Definitely jeans!!!
Iโd like to try out their jeans. Love the pink dress on you!
I’d definitely start with Studio Tie Waist Faux Leather Dress as it’s slightly tailored but with a harder edge.Which pretty much describes me.
I would order the Lace Detail Sheath Dress. Perfect for so many occasions
I would get the Keyhole Neckline Gown.
I love Eloquii! I have a few of their Kady pants and want to try other things.
Love this dress, your style, and your blog.
I’d like to try the Eloquii colored work pants you featured in your recent capsule.
I would love to try Eloqui! I am looking for a versatile dress and even though it’s hot pink, yours fits the bill! Thank you for the opportunity Allie!
That pink dress is a great choice for you. Eloquii has a lot of wonderful things. The biggest gap in my wardrobe right now is dressy (but not too dressy) tops. The Belted Short Sleeve Tee or the Relaxed Flare Sleeve Top look like they would be good choices
I love the brocade blazer and the neoprene skirt.
I love their accessories and I’ve really been ogling some of the stuff they have coming out soon, like the polka dot shirt and the red and black jumpsuit. I wish they would open up more brick and mortar stores, too!
The striped cutout button detail too is just the sort of thing Iโm looking for now that Iโm staying home with kiddos but still want to look pulled together (and totally love that dress!!)
I have and love their neoprene pencil skirt. It would be great to stock up on more colors–it’s such an easy outfit with a black v-neck sweater. Love that pink dress too, if only I had somewhere to wear it!
I love the Raglan Wrap Dress in polka dot print! So cute!
This looks adorable on you! What a great Spring dress too. I would buy something green if I won. My favorite color and it looks like Eloquii has a lot to offer right now.
I like the Ali Blazer and the Kristen Tunic top. Theyโd be going onto my list.
This is a really pretty dress. It looks like a little too much fabric in the bust? Is that just an illusion in the photos?
Yes the dress is a bit big for me. Since working out 14W doesnโt always fit me correctly. Im thinking about getting it altered I like it so much.
Eloquii is definitely one of my favorites and my mom’s as well. We talk to each other all the time when new releases happen. I love their fun colorful prints and unmistakable Eloquii aesthetic.
That asymmetrical pleated dress is so perfect for work!
Eloquii’s work tops can’t be beat. I love the looks of the asymmetric pleated short sleeve top In green – trying to bring more pops of color to my black wardrobe.
I always go black when it says cocktail. I love the pink!
I cannot wait to wear my sequin dress from ELOQUII to an event next month.
I love some of their shoes. I’ve been vacillating on a pair of white booties…and I keep talking myself out of them!! But hey…why not??
XOXO

I’d love the Cross Front Ruched Dress.
I’m wearing Eloquii on Valentine’s day, too! Love this dress on you!
Such a pretty shade on you! Happy Valentines day!!
I have just loved their striped dresses lately–I feel like I have far too many striped dresses in my wardrobe already but they are doing really unique things with how they’re patterned and how they’re cut. I’d love to try one!
I would love to try some clothes from Eloquii! I have really appreciated you featuring them here!
I would buy that dress and slay at a wedding Iโm going to in April!
What a GORGEOUS color! You may inspire me to walk away from black yet… (maybe ๐ )
I would never think of pairing those leopard shoes with that beautiful dress, but it works!
That multicolored striped trumpet skirt is pretty hot. I’d pair it with a tight leather jacket and be ready to hit the town 1980s style
Eloqui’s clothes are always what I think of as FUN. I’m old enough to be pretty choosy about trends– but your blog really helps me feel braver about many. ๐ I would love to win this and be brave!
The dress you have on is gorgeous and you rock it! I love the Kristen tunic top and the riding cardigan. Both are available in do many colors!
I love this dress—for the allover lace and the great punchy pink color. Kudos to you for the surprise of wearing the leopard pumps. This is a great Valentine’s day look. When you were it to your future social event, you will look wonderful.
I always default to black dresses, but I love this hot pink on you – Makes me consider branching out!
What a gorgeous dress! Perfect for Valentine’s Day, and as we move into spring.
Love the photos and the dress is beautiful. While I don’t own much of pink, I must admit is a pretty color.
And yes to Eloquii coming into the plus size fashion industry and making a name (and statement!) for themselves.
Eloquii does the just-below-knee skirt so well, and you look amazing in that dress!
I would love to get a red dress – Eloquii has some gorgeous ones!
Very, very pretty!
The selection is fantastic. The Button Front Fit and Flare Dress is gorgeous!
I love the mixed print duster but it is sold out! I would love one of the leather dresses.
I would love to try Eloquii! The dress you’re wearing is stunning and so versatile.
You are pretty in pink!
omg you look adorable. the tie back v neck tee is super cute.
thanks,
b
I looked through some of their site trying to see what I would want to get and honestly I’d have a hard time deciding! I’m really liking all the asymmetrical necklines and details they have on their tops – it makes them interesting without resorting to a loud pattern, which isn’t really my style.
Really pretty dress ! And, thank you for reminding me of Eloquii – their Gena pant shape is perfect for me. Here’s what I would pick out on their website: Kady Fit Double-Weave Pant – classic color, fabric looks very lush and ankle-length is perfect for me. I’ll pass the Eloquii web site on to others!
That dress would be perfect for my neicesโ weddings this summer. Those are what I am currently shopping for.
Oooh, fun. Velvet pants? The leopard print blazer with contrast collar? Several cute tops….
Thanks for the giveaway, Alison!
Eloquii sure has some gems!
You look stunning! What a great colour. I love that the dress has sleeves -a rarity it seems, across all sizes.
Love seeing your outfits on this site. Have been impressed by the clothes you have shown from eloquii
Great giveaway! Would love to try some of these beautiful clothes!!
Love the dress! What a pretty color:):):)
HOLY COW — this is a brand i have been DYING to try!
i keep meaning to hit up one of the stores, and somehow just haven’t gotten around to it yet…how is that?!!
im desperate to try to Moto Skinny Jeans, but i would also LOVE the Neoprene Pencil Skirt – in abouta hundred different colors and patterns!
I’m definitely stealing this outfit idea. Pink and leopard makes this outfit look fresh!
Love the dress!
Love, love, love this dress! And, yes love the leopard shoes too!!
This is absolutely adorable. Eloqui is by turns elegant, sexy, classic, and always fun. Thanks, Allison, for showcasing their lovely clothes.
